Cup Full O' Goodness
I eat my ice cream in a [cup]
My mom used to serve us
It was just easier that way.
Portion control? Maybe?
Now that I'm now an [adult]
It's just [
Habit, I suppose.
My friends think I'm crazy cuz I serve them ice cream in cups, too!
Pictured here:
Blue Bell's Original [Moo-llenium Crunch],
of course, IN A CUP
Ice cream goodness in its fullest
Cream: straight from the udder
Nuts: Walnuts, Almonds, and Pecans
Caramel chunks
Chocolate chunks
Melts in your mouth
Mmm! Mmm! Good!
So happy that The Valley of the Sun sells this Texas Delicacy...oh the memories!

My nana and me
Nikki and all her FUN bridesmaids
Brandon, Rach, Nana, Mom, Dad and Me
Brandon, Rach, Nana, Mom, Dad and Me
Things I wish I had pics of:
Chowing down on pizookies with Ryanne and her boy Eric.
Me running 3 miles a couple of mornings without the help of a treadmill {the best part was that it was COOL enough to run outside and not in 110 degrees}
Eating at In-N-Out
Being cultured...I went to a nice French restaurant and then to the symphony with a cute/funny boy
Lotsa yummy food
Lotsa laughs {I love when Dad has an audience}
Car shopping
Inviting the inactive car salesman back to Church
Party at the park
Visiting with chums at church

I'm Short and I Intend to Stay that Way
So, I went looking for some new jeans today and, as you know, I'm quite short. {Thanks to the parental genes}I often have a hard time finding pants short enough for me. The {oh, so helpful sales associate} told me, after looking at a stack of folded jeans with the inseams of 31
inches {which are still too long for me}, "They don't make 'em that short. You might have to go to a SHORT AND WIDE store."
Ouch!
I guess I need to start living by the motto {A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips!}

Happy, Happy Day
Today was a happy day:
Work went so fast
Printed my boarding pass
Ate a yummy turkey sandwich
Listened to the Country Music Festival
Packed...still packing
Picked up my hemmed pants {oh the joys of being short}
Did laundry
I'm gonna have fresh, clean sheets
Talked to my amiga Ryanne...made some weekend plans
I'm smiling BIG today!

Here I Come
My dad always asks me, "What are you looking forward to this week?"
Usuallly I respond, "Not much. Just the normal stuff." But this week is an anomaly for which I can't wait! Drum roll please.
I'M GOING TO CAL-I-FORN-I-A!
I couldn't be more excited!
I'm gonna be...
hangin' out at the Redd Hotel
playing with the "little man"/my not-so-little bro
hanging out with the married sis and her hubby
seeing friends
going to Nikki's wedding
chillin' on the beach
having fro yo
visiting with Nana
not thinking about or doing work!
eating yummy home cooked meals
going to the symphony
enjoying the So Cal weather
I can't wait, Cali! See you soon!

Come Once, Date Thrice
Last night I attended "Come Once, Date Thrice" {an ultimate speed dating experience}.
I got picked up by my first date and we went to the church and ate salad. He is a professional surgery-getter. He has had 13 surgeries on his leg in the last 3 years due to a motorcycle crash. He was popping a wheely around a corner and gravity won! Ouch!
We ate dinner with our second date. My date recently got back from teaching English in China so he brought some chop sticks...so we ate spaghetti with chopsticks. Pretty creative. He's definitely a cute 22 year old Mormon boy {Peter Priesthood style}.
We had dessert witht the third date. After the date, he took me home and he had some yellow roses {conveniently} sitting in the front seat. He told me he got them for his grandma's grave for the next day, but that she woudn't mind as he handed me a rose {a yellow one aka the universal "friendship" rose}.
Even thought I didn't meet my {soul mate} and won't be married in 6 weeks as promised, it was a fun night and a good way to get to know more people in the ward. The funniest part was that throughout the night they kept telling the boys what to do like "you're going to find your date, introduce yourself, ask her if she'd like a brownie and ice cream, just a brownie, or just ice cream and then your gonna get her that item..." It's like they were trying to educate them. I think i got gyped though 'cuz they told them that they were "going to take us home, walk us up to the porch, give us a hug and a kiss." {Neither of which happened}.
It was fun being a player. Now if only I could get my own three dates all in one day!
