'08 was GR8!

Though a little L8.

Here's a little why 2008 was so GR8!

*I moved to the Valley of the Sun (December 2007)
*Transferred to the Mesa office
*Lived with my favorite AZ cousins

I became a proud homeowner.

Wrote to my missionary sis, Hermana Em

Got a new brother named Brandon.
We call him Brandon, Rachel's Brandon. :)
My little sis Rach got married!

Made lotsa new friends in AZ
Here's my AZ BFF, Katie

I ran my first "race" at the Thanksgiving Mesa Turkey Trot
I'll be running a 1/2 marathon before ya know it.
Location to be determined.

Christmas fun with the entire fam (minus Em)

I bought my first car!
Other highlights:
*Many weekend trips to CA
*Changed job positions...I just can't seem to get away from attorneys.
*Joined the blogging world
*Loved life

To a FINE '09!

My Fortune

Now I know why I love Pei Wei so much.
It's not only the food, but also what I find in the fortune cookies.
Not gonna lie...
I'm pretty excited about this here fortune!
And it's just in time for Valentine's Day!
I'm smiling already!
I can't wait to see who it is!
Guess who's gonna be partying it up this weekend?!
{and flaunting her assests}

Newport Beach Harbor "Cruise"

A new found family Christmas tradition...taking a 1 hour tour around Newport Port Beach Harbor...

Brandon and Rach in the foreground and Heather and Steve in the background.

We all took turns being the captain.

Steve was definitely a better captain that me.

Bry

Just one of the views...a beautiful day.

Cinnamon Rolls

This right here is the 500,001 reason why I love my mom!

She makes the BEST cinnamon rolls!

She makes 'em every Christmas morning!

A little piece of Spain

The 3 sisters...Heather, Rach, and me sporting our Spainard scarves that Hermanita Em sent from Spain.

Hermana Em says these scarves are "so Spain."

Our little Spaniard will be coming back to the U.S. in just 6 weeks!

And then we'll be able to take a pic with all 4 of us!

Good times!

Hiking the Superstitions

Saturday a few of us hiked the to the summit of the Supersition Mountains.
It was a pretty intense hike, but well worth it!
It was straight up pretty much the whole way...
no hike for an amateur! :)
Round trip I think was more than 6.5 miles!
Here I am at the very top with a 360-degree view that was awesome! It couldn't have been a better day!
Me and my amiga Katie.

The group: Katie, Steve, Garrett, Cara, and me

From the summit looking down toward Flat Iron

We were pretty pooped at the end!
