Crazy Dream

Several months ago I woke up with one of those,
"Wow, that was a crazy dream" dreams.

I was reminded of it again last night while talking to my brother's wife, Heather.

I dreamed that I was visiting Steve and Heather in No Cal and we were on some kind of excursion out in the woods
(I don't even know if their town is "wooded" or not).
We were out frolicking or doing something silly.
I kept smelling something ranck...
the worst smell you could ever think of.
Steve kept ranting and raving about how much he and Heather loved their new stomping grounds.
I just couldn't see why they would like such a place.
It was just too stinky.
I asked him how they could live in such a place that smelled so putrid.
The smell didn't even phase him...or Heather.
I just wanted to get out of there.
I thought I was gonna gag/lose my lunch.

I ended up needing to get something out of Steve's car
(maybe a nose plug).
I took the keys and opened the door and I about fell over from the stench that emanated.
I was surprised that it was Steve's car that was the culprit...and was smelling up the entire city!

When I asked what he had in there, Steve replied, "Oh, just my old Speedos!"

He had stored the wet Speedos in the back of his car for the last 10 years!

I sure don't even know what would've sparked this weird dream!
I promise! Steve does his laundry.

Looking back now I don't know what would've been more disturbing
the horrible smell or
seeing Steve in a Speed-O again!

Sweet dreams or
as the case may be,
stinky dreams!

All Cracked Up

This morning I woke up
craving an egg burrito
{a typical Sunday a.m. happening}
However, that craving came to
screeching halt
when I found this...
An entire dozen of frozen eggs.
It's kinda hard to tell in the pic, but there's a pool of ice around each of the eggs.
Some of them even cracked in the freezing process.
They're all frozen solid and can't be extracted cuz the ice has 'em trapped.
Hil-ar-i-ous!
I CRACKED UP laughing.
For the last couple of weeks,
I've had water drip down
from the freezer
and makes pools of water in the veggie compartment
soggy lettuce
no prob...
just an excuse not to eat it, right?
But frozen eggs...
seriously?
How often does that happen?
I think it's time
to crack down
and do some
serious fridge shopping.
Next question:
Side by side
or up down?
Any thoughts or opinions?

Sizzling

My car tells me it is 107 degrees today...
Tomorrow's blazing sun is gonna grace us
temps of 114 degrees.
Can I just say
{so hot right now}?

No worries though
cause it's a dry heat
{but it's HOT, nonetheless}

A month from now I'll be
{chilling}
in the Cal-i-forn-i-a sun
and I sure can't wait.

Until then
I'll keep cool
with the
{necessary commodity}
air conditioning!
